All of our 58 rooms and suites are equipped with allergy-friendly bed linen and almost half of them have high-quality wooden floors. We will be happy to advise you personally if you have any special allergy concerns.

Are there seminar rooms at the Hotel Eisvogel?

Is it possible to buy vouchers for the Eisvogel and if so, do they expire?

Gift vouchers for the Eisvogel are available in all variations. We will be happy to send you the lovingly wrapped gift voucher by post or you can use our Print at Home gift voucher shop, which is available around the clock with customised designs and the option to dedicate a message.

What saunas are there?

In the Eisvogel sauna area, an infrared cabin, a Finnish sauna at 90°C, a brine steam bath and a bio sauna at 65°C await you

How many degrees does the pool have?

The pool in the Eisvogel Badhaus has a temperature of 31°C in winter and 29°C in summer

Do I have to book my application in advance?

Our clear recommendation: Yes. To ensure that you can enjoy your treatment at the desired time, we strongly recommend that you book your spa treatment in advance. You can reach the spa reception daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on +49 9445 969 448

Are children allowed in the spa?

Children want to play and run around and therefore have different needs to adults. Our hotel is designed to meet the needs of wellness guests seeking rest and relaxation at the Eisvogel. For this reason, children are only allowed unsupervised access to the Eisvogel Spa including the swimming pool from the age of 12 and to the sauna area from the age of 16.

Is it possible to book a day spa at the Eisvogel without an overnight stay?

This is of course possible as part of one of our popular day spa packages. These can be booked from Sun - Fri from 8am to 6pm. We ask for your understanding that the Eisvogel Spa can only be used as part of these packages or in conjunction with an overnight stay in a hotel. Booking a single treatment as an external guest does not entitle you to use the sauna and bathhouse.

With the Bad Gögginger natural remedies moor, sulphur and hops, we can provide you with ideal support for your longevity goals and do something for your health with natural resources without any side effects, so that you are equipped for a long, healthy life.

What natural remedies does Bad Gögging and the Hotel Eisvogel offer?

Bad Gögging is the only spa town in Bavaria with three natural remedies in its own resources - moor, sulphur and thermal water. At the Eisvogel, we use the first two for our spa treatments and have also utilised the healthy properties of Hallertau hops from our region to offer you sustainable wellness treatments.

What's the difference between a lazy board and a gourmet board?

With our individual holiday board, we offer you a unique choice. The lazy board is for all those who want to have a good time during the day and prefer to eat casually in the a la carte restaurant in the evening or skip dinner, perfect for intermittent fasting. The indulgence board is our all-round carefree package and includes a 4 or 5-course evening menu in addition to the gourmet breakfast and the Spa Bistro from 09:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m.

What are the opening hours of the restaurant?

The Eisvogel a la carte restaurant is open Mon - Fri from 05:00 p.m. and on weekends and public holidays from 11:00 a.m.
 

Are there vegan and vegetarian dishes?

You will always find a delicious selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes both on the a la carte menu in the Eisvogel Restaurant and on the menu as part of the gourmet board.

If you have an intolerance or allergy, please let us know. Our kitchen will be happy to take care of it.

Is it possible to have breakfast at the Hotel Eisvogel as a non-hotel guest?

Our gourmet breakfast buffet is also available daily from 08:00 to 10:30 a.m. for no-hotel-guests upon prior reservation.

Are there car parking facilities?

There are around 100 free parking spaces around the Eisvogel. On request, we can reserve a lockable garage for you for a small fee.

Is there W-Lan ?

Our Wi-Fi is available to you free of charge in almost all rooms. In the spa area, we have deliberately decided against this so that you can go on holiday without your mobile phone. Perfect for a digital detox.

Are e-charging stations available?

We have installed sufficient charging facilities for both e-vehicles and e-bikes in our lockable garages.

Is there a bike hire service?

City and e-bikes are available for a fee at the Eisvogel bike hire centre.

Can I bring my own bike?

You are welcome to store your bike in our garage and charge the battery for your e-bike if required.

How far is it to the nearest railway station?

Neustadt a. d. Donau railway station is 5 km away and Abensberg railway station is approx. 7 km from the Eisvogel. Both can be reached by the Agilis regional railway.

How far is the nearest airport from Hotel Eisvogel?

Munich Airport is approx. 80 km away and Nuremberg Airport is approx. 140 km away

What are the most popular excursion destinations?

Don't miss out on Weltenburg Abbey, the Hundertwasser Tower in Abensberg or the Liberation Hall in Kelheim. The castles and palaces in the district of Kelheim, the historic old town of Regensburg and the Roman fortress in Eining are also definitely worth a visit. For an extended shopping trip, we recommend Ingolstadt Village.
