Spa etiquette

So that you and all our guests feel comfortable, we ask you to observe our Spa etiquette.

Book treatments

We recommend that you book your treatments before you arrive. We will be happy to arrange a call-back appointment to provide you with competent and professional advice. We ask for your understanding that we cannot confirm wellness appointments for specific days or fixed times. Due to rebookings by guests, changes can always be made at short notice. Of course, we always endeavour to accommodate your appointment requests as best we can.

Cancellation
It's a shame when an appointment is cancelled. Perhaps another guest would have liked to attend. If you wish to change, postpone or cancel an appointment, you can do so up to 48 hours in advance. If you cancel later or do not turn up for a treatment, we will have to charge you 60% of the treatment price.

Take your time
Complete relaxation takes time. In order to enjoy your full treatment time, we would ask you to arrive at the EISVOGEL SPA reception approx. 5 minutes before the start of your treatment. If you arrive late, we will unfortunately have to shorten the duration of your treatment out of consideration for the next guests. All times given are approximate and refer to the duration of your entire treatment, including anamnesis and relaxation. Allow about 20 minutes for a rest period after your treatment. You will find plenty of space in the Room of Silence, the library and our bathhouse. Don't take on too much and only eat a light meal before a treatment.

Precautionary measures for your health
Please inform us of any medical indications or restrictions that need to be taken into account before the treatments, or even better, when you make your appointment.

Loungers
Out of consideration for other guests, we kindly ask you not to reserve any loungers in the entire spa area and relaxation rooms. Please use our baskets and take your personal belongings with you to the pool, sauna and application area.

Eisvogel Culinary
In the Eisvogel Bistro you can enjoy small meals and drinks from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. as part of the lazy and gourmet board and when booking an Eisvogel Day Spa Package - just as the fancy takes you. To avoid broken glass, please do not take glasses, crockery and bottles into the entire Badhaus and SPA area. Suitable plastic cups are available. All food is for consumption on site only.

Clothing

Please come to the treatments in our cosy bathrobe and bring your "towel blanket" if necessary. Please only wear swimwear and slippers in the SPA area. The sauna area is a nude area - hammam towels for covering up in the sauna area are available at the SPA reception. We provide our hotel guests with bathrobes and slippers in their hotel room. Please contact reception for different sizes.

Body treatments are usually enjoyed unclothed. However, you will always be well covered to protect your privacy. Suitable (sports) clothing and trainers are required for the fitness area. You will find towels for training in the fitness room. For Nordic walking, we recommend comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for the weather conditions.

Valuables
Please leave your valuables in your room or in the safe located there, as we cannot accept any liability for loss or damage.

Spa Basket
For the duration of your stay, you can borrow a cosy bathrobe and a kingfisher basket with your personal blanket. All items can also be purchased at our Spa reception.

Mobile Phone & Co
To enable you and our other guests to relax in the Eisvogel Spa in the best possible way, we ask you to refrain from using mobile phones, tablets and other technology in the bathhouse and throughout the SPA area.

Children in the Spa
The Spa area is a place for relaxation and recreation. We therefore ask parents not to leave their children unattended and to ensure that their behaviour is calm and appropriate to the surroundings. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the sauna, even if accompanied by an adult. This is to protect the privacy of our guests - and children.
